JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the inspection of Civil and Structural works by the Main Works Package Contractor including monitoring during the work progress/execution.
- Checks on demolition/clearing of the site prior to start of construction, site hoarding, safety signage, barricades, etc.
- Checks on setting out building grids and elevation.
- Check/inspection of bored pile works, diaphragm walls,pile caps/foundation, sub-structure and super structure including civil works,brickworks/plastering, waterproofing, etc.
- Highlight Non-Conformity works and coordinate with QA/QC to issue Non-Conformance Report (NCR).
- Observe and highlight non-safe activities and site situation then coordinate with Safety Officer to issue Safety Warning/Report.
- Understand shop drawings against design drawings to clearly understand work implementation and inspection. Highlight to make RFI if there is ambiguity found.
- Read thoroughly/study method statement against specification, design drawings and standard practice to clearly understand work implementation and inspection.
- Check/confirm data in Contractors submitted Daily Report.
- Others that maybe instructed from time to time by Senior Site Engineer/Manager related to site inspection/monitoring, quality,safety or emergency issues.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor degree in civil engineering or related field.
- Experience at least 3 years on related tasks
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Be confident, assertive and independent.
- Good at English.
