JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure inspections are carried out by MEP Engineers on mechanical, electrical and plumbing works including firefighting system and lightning protection.
- Monitoring of all MEP works during execution.
- Ensure materials are approved prior to installation.
- Ensure location and elevation of all MEP lines from 1st Fix, position of finishing fixtures at 3rd Fix.
- Checking of Shop Drawings and endorse approval to Project Manager.
- Checking of Method Statements and endorse approval to Project Manager.
- Testing and Commissioning of all MEP Works including Lifts.
- Highlight Non-Conformity works and coordinate with QA/QC to issue Non-Conformance Report (NCR).
- Observe and highlight non-safe activities and site situation then coordinate with Safety Officer to issue Safety Warning/Report.
- Study design drawings and highlight to make RFI if there is ambiguity found.
- Audit weekly the Contractors submitted Daily Report. Check Weekly Report of Contractors.
- Attend Weekly Coordination Meeting with Contractors.
- Others that maybe instructed from time to time by Project Manager related to site inspection/monitoring, quality, schedule,safety or emergency issues.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor degree in civil or electrical or mechanical engineering or related field.
- Experience at least 4 years on related tasks
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Be confident, assertive and independent.
- Good at English.
