JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Monitor and review sales forecast and customer orders to insure adequate inventory is available to meet customer demand while minimizing excess and obsolete inventories.
  • Evaluate and coordinate all inputs to master schedule: sales forecasts,customer orders, purchase orders, capacity planning, & firm plan.
  • Review historic sales trends & growth rates, inquire document regional demand sale, summarize data, and scrutinize forecast results.
  • Maintain minimal to no back orders on all products released to market.
  • Works with contract manufacturers to coordinate forecasts, production and cross functional team concerns to supplier.
  • Interpret data on logistics elements, such as availability,reliability, supply chain management, strategic sourcing or distribution,supplier management, or transportation.
  • Prepare reports on logistics performance measures.
  • Confer with logistics management teams to determine ways to optimize service levels, maintain supply-chain efficiency, or minimize cost.
  • Track product flow from origin to final delivery.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s  degree in Business Administration, Science, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 3 years relevant experience in Supply Chain management, demand planning, production scheduling, and / or forecasting, inventory/production control experience and manufacturing cycle knowledge.
  • Understanding of the various supply chain functions and how each function fits in the planning process.
  • Managerial, negotiation, analytical, interpersonal and computer skills along with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP or MS. Dynamic or Oracle Demand Planning, or other software related to demand planning.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency – particularly in MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, decision making, and presentation skills. Strong interpersonal & facilitation skills are also essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of business.
  • Ability to lead, coach and manage others.
