JOB PURPOSE:
Main mission is to drive and champion our ambition as a credible leader in early life nutrition. You will need to manage a team of Product Consultants Supervisor, Product Consultants, Merchandisers where working at the field of respective areas. Together with the team, you will need to uncover the trade and consumers needs and to provide suitable solutions. You will also need to gain NUC, off take, Hit Rate, PC competency development, and to ensure plans and activities are implemented effectively to achieve the function goals and objectives.
You will achieve the company mission by creating a high performing team, addressing trade and consumers needs in a tightly regulated environment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITIES
Recruitment & Deployment
- Work closely with HR team to ensure full head count of PC and PC Supervisor and merchandiser team.
- Efficiency deployment.
Territory and Key Account Management
- Propose & execute a territorial& strategic plans on annual basis for short & long term outlook.
People Management
- Encourage the capability development of team members to build a highly capable, effective and sustainable team with a focus on high performance to deliver quality and timely services
- Create regular training calendar to ensure all PC are well equip and up skill.
Intelligence and Insights Gathering
- Analyze and update relevant information from market insights to keep abreast with market opportunities.
Sales performance
- Keep monitoring and performance tracking to ensure off-take, NUC increases at trade level and play important roles to monitor stock in trade channel where covered by PC and Merchandiser team.
KEY TASKS
Recruitment & Deployment
- Work closely with HR team to ensure full head count for PC, Merchandiser and PC Supervisor team.
- To ensure efficiency staff deployment by business case analyzing.
Territory and Key Account Management
- Analyze and identify business opportunities within respective areas and assign territory for PC Sup,Merchandiser and ensure they are follow their route plan.
- Understand and respond to competitive activities, initiate and recommend actions to counter-act these in order to help protect our market position.
- Review territory plans in line with cycle objectives on a quarterly basis with the Trade Marketing Manager
- Plan, monitor and analyze performance,dashboard report & review results and insights and prepare weekly, monthly,quarterly and annual forecasts regarding all ELN core products
- Review reports on promotional activities in accordance to established formats and schedule, and recommends action plans
- Ensure that all business is conform to the WHO and local government code of ethics for infant formula products
- Ensure the accomplishment of qualitative and quantitative key performance indicators assigned for him/her respective area on daily, monthly and yearly basis.
People Management
- Deliver individual in-field coaching to ensure team members are effective in their roles
- Provide on-the-job coaching/trainings to develop high performance, demonstrate in-field best practices
- Plan and deliver on team TDP and ensure sustenance in people resources in his/her area
- Responsible for motivating and encouraging team to develop and achieve company goals and objectives.
Intelligence and Insights Gathering
- Collecting intelligence on relevant activities, market demand, consumer insights and potential customers in the coverage areas.
- Monitor all competitor activities,including consumer promotion, activation, event, trade rebate, trade launch and report it to management
- Demand forecast accuracy based on analysis of past/market trends and calculation of current trends.
Collaborate with HMS team to increase off-take &Sell Out (IMS)
- Work closely with, Sales and Trade Marketing Team, Marketing, Healthcare Nutrition team to develop and monitor sales programs/projects to ensure we get more new users in compliance with internal right way & local milk code.
- Conduct market visit with the team regularly to monitor the Sell Out (IMS), off-take, NUC and competitor activities and take actions to counter-act with the competitors
- Join monthly sales meeting with sales team to review IMS & new users and deal with operation challenges with the team.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Knowledge
- Bachelor Degree of administration, management
- Computer literate
- Strong verbal& written communication skills in English and Khmer language
- Relevant knowledge in infant nutrition and food science will be an advantage.
Experience
- Experience in working with the retail operation, sales, marketing
- At least 3-year experience in a supervisory position or have experience in leading working groups.
