JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for confirming completeness of submitted documents supporting Interim Payments from Contractors.
- Random check of quantities and endorse the same to QS Consultant.
- Collect related documents to Variation Orders and coordinate to Project Manager prior to endorsing to QS Consultant and related parties.
- Check or initiate Purchase of items needed by site staff in coordination with Site Administrator.
- Check quantity of materials supplied/delivered by Employer/Owner.
- Check Safety Plan of contractors in coordination with Senior Site Engineer and Project Manager.
- Attend Safety Induction carried out by contractors.
- Ensure Weekly Safety Walk-through in coordination with contractors Safety Officer/Staff.
- Record Safety violations and formulate penalty system.
- Others that maybe instructed from time to time by immediate supervisor/Senior Engineer/Manager related to QS Works, Safety,documents and emergency issues.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor degree in civil engineering or related field.
- Experience at least 3 years on related tasks
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Be confident, assertive and independent.
- Good at English.
