JOB PURPOSE:
Purchases goods or services for company to use in office and to support sales, marketing and HCN activities. Ensures company obtains quality products for competitive prices ina timely fashion. Plays an integral role in ensuring a company sticks to budgets and operates profitably.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITIES
Purchasing activities
- Ensure smooth operation running from day to day in purchasing department
- Drive discussion express needs to requestor to minimize the complex specification
- Ensure all purchase in scope of SSD in accordance to procurement procedure
- Take lead the pitching or bidding activities
- Validate procurement contract and take lead in negotiate of supplier term and condition
- Validate price comparison and quality of items and ensure strong justifications when it’s solely supplier selection
- Verify on new supplier and ensure pro perform sign off before supplier selection.
Reports
- Lead and present procurement report to supervisor and raise up support when needed.
Team
- Improve competencies of Procurement executive. Make sure she can take lead on agencies pitching when procurement manager is not around.
KEY TASKS
Purchasing activities
- Handle all purchasing activities after receiving purchase requisition from request or.
- Do cost analysis and take the lead in price negotiations, detailed contracts knowledge and understanding of legal terms.
- Responsible for Tender / Pitching activities.
- Review procurement KPIs according to the company’s objectives and goal
- Fostering and develop purchasing team to be efficient and effective.
- Take lead and align with respective HODs when decision is needed to confirm PO to suppliers.
- Handle procurement procedure refinement and new policy creation when needed.
Reports
- Review weekly procurement report from procurement executive.
- Review monthly procurement report from procurement executive.

- Supervise procurement executive staff.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Knowledge
- University degree, major in Account / Management / Business / Economic
- Master degree is a plus
- Relevant knowledge in analytical and calculation.
Experience
- At least 5 years work experiences in purchasing job and minimum 3 years experiences involvement in bidding and pitching suppliers.
Specialist Knowledge
- Supplier sourcing

- Legal terms and knowledge of term and condition in contract.
