[ Plumbing Design Engineer, $300-$600 ]

Job Responsibilities:
- Check analyzing and interpreting issued plumbing or firefighting design/construction, structural, architectural and interior design (ID) drawings.
- Verify and compare construction and design drawings, record all discrepancy.
- Verify equipment capacity, pipe size, duct size using standard calculation reference and software.
- Prepare and issue pump pressure drop calculation, ventilation fans and air handling unit external static calculation.
- Notified and raise request for information (RFI) on all design discrepancy and other relevant missing information for the production of shop drawing.
- Verify equipment sizes following approved equipment submittal and incorporate into the shop drawing production.
- Prepare shop drawings including section detail and combine system drawings as instructed by immediate supervisor following CAD manual, drawing list and drawing schedule. Issue drawings for checking and approval.
- Prepare design and BOQ for Variation Order.
- Assist Plumbing and Fire Protection shop drawing production.
- Update and organize all engineering documents assigned and completed in the Engineering Server.
- To perform other relevant tasks as required by immediate supervisor.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Plumbing or Firefighting Engineering.
- At least 2 year experienced on plumbing or firefighting design and engineering works.
- Knowledge on plumbing or firefighting Systems design and shop drawing preparation.
- Basic knowledge on Plumbing & Fire Protection Systems.
- Have good computer literacy and especially MS Office, MS Excel, AutoCAD, Projects 2000.
- Good interpersonal skill.
- Have negotiation skill.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in English.
- Computer literacy and especially MS Offices, MS Project, AutoCAD.
