Job Responsibilities:
- To do daily administrative management of the HSE department.
- To review and update of the HSE manual containing the policies and procedures as planned or required.
- To monitor and interact with the project sites in Health & Safety and Environmental requirements and its conformance which include preparation of HSE Project Plan, Risk assessment and random safety inspection.
- To lead the investigation team in case of serious accidents or incidents, and monitor and review accident statistics and advise the team as and when needed.
- To identify, arrange and conduct safety-training needs, provide advice and guidance for safety staff and other staff/labors within the contracting division as required.
- To ensure that the contracting division HSE system is regularly reviewed for its continuing effectiveness and that adherence to procedures is assessed by means of planned and independent internal and external audits.
- To report to the Contracting Division Manager the status of the HSE management system.
- To attend training and seminars related to HSE and HSE visits to other similar size companies or from same aiming to benchmark CK Contracting Division HSE Management System.
- To perform other relevant tasks as required by HSE Manager.
Job Requirements:
- Technical Education/Engineering or significant experience in HSSE.
- ESSENTIAL:
1. Graduate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or any equivalent engineering course.
2. 8 years and above.
3. Ability to communicate (written and spoken) fluently in English.
4. Computer literate to a basic/advance level.
5. Excellent in MS Office/ Visio.
6. Knowledgeable on Basic AutoCAD.
7. Should be well educated and trained in at least one of the following:
a) Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSAS 18001:2007).
b) United States Construction Safety (29 CFR 1926).
c) Other suitable HSE internationally recognized management systems(NEBOSH Qualified).
